As a child, I often frequented the Washington Park Zoo

I'm the one on my dad's back

There's the infamous Rose Garden

A little early in the season perhaps...

We did find some flowers in bloom elsewhere

In our family, life always imitates art...

Well, at least we pose with it

We visited a spot I'd not seen before.

As we walked up, at first glance, I was a little disappointed...

I noticed these items on the ground...

I was thinking it was so rude of someone to just leave their stuff...

But as I really looked at everything I was seeing...

Realizing it was all bronzed...

And recognizing the common theme...

I understand what the Memorial is saying...
