2013 Dirty Dash

A nice thing about my neighborhood is that there are a lot of runners. A neighborhood of runners means good places to run.  One of my neighbor friends actually does the PR for a race organization. We tried to organize a team.  Another friend of ours is a fitness instructor. The three of us were signed up, but no one else was signing up. We kept asking, but people were not wanting to run with a fitness instructor and two big runners. Silly girls. This is the Dirty Dash. No speed involved. Some strength, but with the help of your teammates, not much. We were able to convince one other friend to run with us. Too bad all the rest chicken out.

Here we are before the race. We were dressed as gym coaches.

Here is the one action shot (a little similar to a shot from the first time I ran the race)

As seems to be happening at many of the races I run these days, a couple got married after running the race. My friend helped them organize it and organized some PR around the event.

We survived

Some tough girls

And here's our official finish photo
