So I get promotional emails from vendors at work from time to time. Today I got one which included the add pictured above. $159.99 for a remote control? And that is after the mail-in rebate (MIR)? Seriously, I can't imagine spending that much for a remote. Can you imagine your husband's reaction if you child starts sucking on the remote? (since we know all children do at some time or another) And can you imagine what would happen if the remote went missing? I'll stick to the comes-in-the-appliance remote controls, using the right one for the right machine. Oh my!
